In the Marina district, opposite the Saint Pio monument, next to the San Nicola Church in Plateis, you reach Porta della Marina, after a few steps, turn into the first alley on the left, after 30 meters turn into the second alley where our  B&B Lavinium is. We are in the historic centre of the medieval village Scalea Antica, surrounded by steps, hence the name of the city Scalea, where one can breathe air which is pregnant with history and maritime and farming civilizations.  Our B&B is in the more panoramic part, the Marina district, set in the millenniums old Historic Centre of the city, near the Marina torrent.

By Car
* From the north: Take highway A3 (Salerno - Reggio Calabria), take the “Lagronegro nord" exit and continue for 45 km. (S.S. Fondo valle del Noce e S.S.18);
* From the south: Take highway A3 (Salerno - Reggio Calabria), exit at "Falerna" e continue on S.S. 18 for about 100 Km;
* From Northeast: Take the S.S. 108 (Taranto - Reggio Calabria), exit immediately after  Policoro indicated "S.S. Sinnica". Drive the whole length and merge onto A3 in the direction of Salerno. Exit at "Lagonegro Nord" e continue for 45 Km;
* From Southeast: Take the S.S. 108 (Taranto - Reggio Calabria), exit at Sibari and follow the signs for Guardia Piemontese. Continue on S.S. 18, direction North for about 40 Km.

The closest airport is “Santa Eufemia” di Lamezia spas (Catanzaro) about 120 Km. from Scalea.
